Pad Her Up: Walking in Her Shoes This October.
What if something as natural as a period could determine whether a girl goes to school, participates in class, or simply feels confident enough to go about her day?
For too many girls, this is their reality.
Every month, girls across Nigeria face the challenge of managing their periods without reliable access to sanitary products. For some, the cost of menstrual products is simply too much. Others resort to unsafe alternatives, miss school or stay at home until their period ends.
At Clare Cares Foundation, we believe that menstruation should never be a barrier to education, confidence or opportunity.
That is why this October, we are bringing back our Pad Her Up Initiative with the theme:
“Walk in Her Shoes.”
This campaign is an invitation to pause, listen and understand what many girls experience every month.
It is about more than distributing sanitary pads.
It is about dignity.
It is about education.
It is about confidence.
It is about making sure that a girl does not have to miss school simply because she is on her period.
Through this year’s Pad Her Up Initiative, we hope to provide menstrual hygiene products, create awareness about menstrual health and have meaningful conversations with girls about their bodies, their health and their right to manage their periods with dignity.
But we cannot do it alone.
We need you to Pad Her Up.
You can support this campaign by sponsoring sanitary pads, making a financial donation, providing menstrual hygiene products, volunteering or partnering with us as an individual, organisation or corporate sponsor.
Every contribution brings us closer to reaching another girl.
Every pack of pads can mean one less day missed from school.
Every conversation can help replace shame with confidence.
Every partnership can help us reach further.
This October, Walk in Her Shoes.
Imagine having to choose between buying food and buying sanitary products.
Imagine sitting quietly in class because you are afraid of staining your uniform.
Imagine missing an examination because you cannot manage your period safely.
Now imagine what happens when someone steps in and says:
“You don’t have to face this alone.”
That is the message behind Pad Her Up.
We invite you to walk with us, stand with our girls and help us create a future where every girl can experience her period with dignity, confidence and access to the care she needs.
Partner With Pad Her Up
Whether you are an individual donor, business, school, organization or brand, there is a place for you in this campaign.
Sponsor a girl. Donate pads. Fund the campaign. Become a partner. Spread the word.
Together, we can help girls stay in school, stay confident and keep pursuing their dreams, one period at a time.
