One of the most valuable lessons we have learned at Clare Cares Foundation is that impact grows when people are trusted with responsibility.
Many organizations rely on a few individuals to drive every project, but we believe that true leadership development happens when team members are given the opportunity to lead, innovate, and take ownership.
At Clare Cares Foundation, delegation is not simply about assigning tasks, it is about empowering people to become leaders.
Our team members are encouraged to develop ideas, identify community needs, and take charge of projects they are passionate about. In many cases, a team member leads an entire project from conception to execution, inviting the rest of the team to support specific aspects where assistance is needed.
To ensure proper planning and accountability, we created a project proposal form that allows team members to outline:
- The project idea
- The objectives
- The target beneficiaries
- The implementation plan
- Resources required
- Expected impact
Once submitted, the proposal is reviewed by the leadership team. We analyze the concept, provide feedback where necessary, and when approved, support the project by providing resources, guidance, and volunteers to help bring the vision to life.
What makes this approach special is that the project becomes the team member’s own responsibility. They are not merely participating, 
they are leading.
At the conclusion of every project, the project lead is required to complete a post-project report, documenting:

This process encourages accountability, ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
More importantly, it helps our team members build confidence, leadership skills, project management experience, and a deeper understanding of community development.
