This year, as we commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child, Clare Cares Foundation is proud to embrace the theme:

“Walk in Her Shoes”

This theme challenges us to pause, listen, and understand the realities many girls face every day. It calls on us to see the world through their eyes—to appreciate their struggles, celebrate their strengths, and commit to creating opportunities that help them thrive.

As part of this year’s celebration, our team will visit a selected school wearing specially designed campaign shirts to show solidarity with the girls and demonstrate our commitment to their wellbeing and future.

The day will be filled with meaningful activities, including:

Interactive Conversations – Creating a safe space for girls to express themselves, ask questions, and share their experiences.

Inspiring Talks – Engaging discussions on confidence, self-worth, leadership, education, menstrual health, and personal growth.

“Walk in Her Shoes” Reflection Banner – A special sign-on banner session where students, teachers, and guests can write messages of encouragement, commitments, and hopes for girls everywhere.

Mentorship and Engagement – Spending quality time with the students, listening to them, and encouraging them to pursue their dreams fearlessly.

Sanitary Pad Distribution – Providing menstrual hygiene products to support girls’ health, confidence, and school attendance.

At Clare Cares Foundation, we believe that when we invest in girls, we invest in stronger families, healthier communities, and a brighter future.

Our goal is not only to celebrate girls for a day but to remind them that they are valued, capable, and deserving of every opportunity to succeed.
